Tubal proudly supports excellence in the Hospitality industry, and to that end are excited again to be a major sponsor of The Gold Plate Awards in 2015. A gala dinner at the Perth Convention and exhibition centre on Monday night saw a host of the industry’s best congregate to celebrate the awarding of Gold Plates for excellence across several different categories.
Tubal was again proud to sponsor the Bill Thompson Award for excellence in service, which is awarded to an individual during Gold Plate judging who are deemed to have displayed an exceptionally high level of standard of presentation, service and commitment to the hospitality industry. This years’ winner was Brittany Hutchen from Redmanna Waterfront Restaurant in Mandurah. Brittany beat a highly credentialed and competitive field to take out the award as the states’ best front of house service provider.
Other notable winners included Piari and Co in Dunsborough, who were presented with the prestigious Premier’s Award for not only best meeting the judging criteria, but also by having attained the highest percentage score over all entrants. The Wine Store at Steve’s Bar and Café – Nedlands took out the honour for Best New Restaurant, while The Terrace Hotel – Perth won the award for Best Licensed Dining Restaurant.
